Tenant FAQs
-
How do I apply?
To apply and begin the screening process, fill out this contact form and be sure to include your full legal name, phone number, email and physical address.
-
Do I have to sign a lease?
Yes. Leases are available to sign online or offline by appointment. The majority of our properties come with a 12-month lease. They state the responsibilities of both sides throughout the tenancy period.
-
What is your security deposit policy?
Our security deposit is equal to one month’s rent. You’ll need to pay the full amount before you can move in.
-
Can my rent increase?
Rent rates are subject to increase at the landlord’s discretion following the end of the leasing period.
-
Do I need renters insurance?
Yes. All tenants must have renters insurance prior to move-in. You must show proof of renters insurance before getting the keys.
Applicants must first apply, then pass our screening process, which includes background and credit checks, employment verification and referrals from previous landlord(s).
Once you’ve passed screening and a been selected, we’ll send you a lease to review.
We’ll meet with you to tour the unit and review and sign the lease. At that time, we’ll collect payment for the first month’s rent, any applicable deposits, and check for proof of renters insurance. Plus, we’ll discuss when and how to continue making rent payments, as agreed upon in the lease.
Once this is complete, we’ll give you the keys!
